It’s solidarity time. Approximately 150,000 members of the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) need friends and allies in their Big Three contract fight.
The union contracts for autoworkers at Ford, General Motors (GM) and Stellantis expire Thursday, Sept. 14, at 11:59 p.m., and auto executives refuse to budge on pocketbook issues—wages, cost of living, retirement and job security.
Meanwhile, the CEOs of Ford, GM and Stellantis gave themselves a 40% raise over the past four years.
