John,
Students, teachers, and administrators are heading back to school. But unfortunately, many of them are returning to underserved and underfunded schools, and I’m doing what I can as Speaker of the House to address education inequality across our Commonwealth.
We must fund public education so that every student receives a quality education, no matter their ZIP code. If you stand with me in the fight for quality public school education for all of our students, will you add your name here?
Underinvesting in public schools has hurt Pennsylvania communities, and we can no longer afford to leave any student behind based on their ZIP code. We need to ensure every single student has the opportunity to thrive.
Our state’s future depends on having a strong work force, and preparing that work force and inspiring our next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders starts today.
Under my leadership, House Democrats have passed several bills to address many of the problems facing our school districts, including balancing out funding for school districts, fixing our crumbling schools, halting the harmful charter school reimbursement program, and so much more. Now, these bills are in the hands of the Republican-controlled State Senate.
As the House reconvenes later this month, it’d mean the world to me to know you’re standing with me in the fight for our public schools. John, will you add your name here to show your support for our public schools, students, and teachers?
