Hi John,
I wanted to make sure you saw Nancy’s email from last week. It is so important for every citizen to vote in the upcoming municipal elections, and you can only do that if you’re registered to vote.
Your CT Dems have created a Voter Registration Fund and are running a voter registration drive all the way to Election Day 2023 to boost participation in this year’s municipal election.
Will you make a contribution to our Voter Registration Fund today?

To reach as many people as possible, here are ways you can help: - Make sure you are registered to vote at your current address.
- Talk to your friends and family to make sure they are registered to vote.
-
Contribute to our Voter Registration Fund today to help us reach potential Democratic voters!
In the last three municipal election cycles, just 30% of eligible voters statewide turned out to vote. Let’s do better this year!
Thank you for your help and commitment to boosting Connecticut’s voter participation in 2023. Best, Sarah Locke |

Elections? This year? Yes! Not only is there an election on November 7, but it’s one of the most important types of elections, Sarah—municipal elections.
Voting for local leaders allows you to take an active role in shaping the future of your community. Your vote is your power, and registering to vote is the first step in exercising that power.
Unfortunately, municipal races see less than half the participation of presidential election years. That’s why your CT Dems are organizing to boost registration and turnout this year.
We’ve created a Voter Registration Fund to help us reach and register voters to increase turnout in 2023. Will you make a contribution to our Voter Registration Fund today? |
Here are some resources you can use to make sure you’re ready and able to vote in these crucial upcoming elections: -
Are you registered to vote? Find out your current registration status here. If you’ve recently moved, you will need to update your voter registration status to reflect your new address.
- Not sure how
to register? It’s easy! Register online, or download a registration form here to return by mail.
-
Need special arrangements? Connecticut offers absentee ballots and same-day registration as well.
- What else can you do? Encourage your friends and family to register, too.
Municipal leaders manage essential services, decide how to allocate local tax dollars, and enact policies that affect our everyday lives. The upcoming elections are your chance to directly impact the safety and well-being of your community.
Your vote is your voice, so let it be heard! Make sure you are registered to vote today, check in with your friends and family to ensure they are registered, donate to the Voter Registration Fund, and together we can create a brighter future for our state.
