John,
I’ve spoken a lot about the issues our community faces and the work I’ve been doing as State Treasurer to deliver on these issues.
Today, I wanted to reach out and explain why serving our state and communities means so much to me.
But first: to keep delivering for Delaware, I need people-powered support behind my campaign for Congress. John, will you start a monthly donation today to carry out momentum all the way through 2024? [[link removed]]

I didn’t have the easiest upbringing, John.
As a young girl, my dad’s business went bankrupt and my family lost everything—even my dollhouse. Our family moved from rental home to rental home, school to school, and even experienced homelessness.
Despite everything, my parents taught me the importance of taking care of the people in your community. On top of raising me and my siblings, they fostered 5 children and started a nonprofit to educate youth on local workforce opportunities.
All of this taught me that I wanted to help other families experience safety and security in their lives.
After college, I dove into community work as an ambulance driver and operating room physician assistant. In 2018, I ran for State Treasurer against a Republican incumbent and won!
And the rest is history. As Treasurer, I’ve protected Delaware tax dollars, made saving for retirement and higher education more accessible, and educated our communities about financial literacy budgeting.
Now, I’m running for Congress so that Delawareans have an experienced public servant fighting for our best interests.
John, running a campaign like this means long-term budgeting for campaign materials, digital outreach, staff wages, and volunteer supplies. We're relying on more than one-time donations to keep our campaign running smoothly.
As little as $10 a month can go farther than you might think – John, will you set up a recurring donation today? >> [[link removed]]

In solidarity,
Team Colleen
At just eight years old, Colleen’s life changed when her father’s company fell victim to fraud and went bankrupt. Her family was evicted, lost their home and all of their possessions, and they moved from rental home to rental home and school to school.
Thanks to the power of family, hard work and the care of her neighbors and teachers in Delaware, Colleen persevered and paid her way through college by driving an ambulance.
