John — Extremists have been plotting to take over school boards, spread hate in the classroom, and dismantle public education for years.
Now, a group called Moms for Liberty is gaining traction for successfully pushing bigoted policies in our schools. In fact, right-wing extremist Gov. Ron DeSantis, just appointed the co-founder of Moms for Liberty to the Florida Ethics Commission. Unfortunately, John, their hate is spreading and we have to stop it.
Here’s a look at their dangerous agenda:
—Banning books and trying to erase historical truths from our curriculum
—Removing discussions of race and gender identity in the classroom
—Banning trans kids from competing on school teams that align with their gender identity
—Attacking teachers, including threatening prosecution, if they don’t fall in line
But we have 3 big opportunities to fight back: Vote Mama has endorsed Lauren Marchaza (OH), Lyndsie Wall (OH), and Tracey Osecki (PA) who are all up against Moms for Liberty opponents.
