Pierre Poilievre made it clear that he would take us back to the Harper years where too many Canadians were left behind.
Canadians don’t want to go backward, friend.
In the nearly 10 years that Stephen Harper was Prime Minister, he cut services that the middle class relied on, attacked labour unions, raised the retirement age from 65 to 67, closed nine Veterans Affairs offices, and did nothing to fight climate change – but Pierre Poilievre took the time to thank him and his reckless policies during his Conservative Convention speech last weekend.
That’s right. Pierre Poilievre made it clear that he would take us back to the Harper years where too many Canadians were left behind.
He’s stood against support for families and seniors, wants to roll back our climate action, and is importing far-right American-style politics here to Canada – and it’s going to take all of us working together to stop him from taking us backward.
Chip in now to support Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team’s work to keep Canada moving forward – for everyone.
