Hello,

It’s heartbreaking to see lives, homes, dreams and treasured memories swept away. This is the reality people in Libya are facing right now, where it’s feared that more than 2,000 people may have died in catastrophic flooding. An estimated 10,000 people are missing. The floods have struck a population already struggling with the consequences of prolonged conflict and other climate impacts.

ICRC teams have been protecting and assisting people affected by conflict in Libya since 2011. Together with our partners, the Libyan Red Crescent Society, we help people meet their essential needs and reunite families separated by conflict – and now this disaster.

The suffering and destruction caused by this disaster is immense. Individuals and families desperately need your help. ([link removed] )

In this period of urgent need, we ask for your generous support so that we can continue helping the most vulnerable people in Libya. Your donation can make a life-saving difference.
