Dear John,
If our lawmakers don’t take action, we are on the brink of a child care crisis.
After desperately-needed investments during the pandemic helped keep child care afloat, 3.2 million kids could lose access to child care and 70,000 child care programs will be forced to close when funding expires at the end of the month. This will have devastating effects on hard-working families.
We need to do everything we can to call on our elected leaders to make sure this doesn’t happen – and that starts with the Child Care Stabilization Act, which was just introduced today.
Call on your Congressperson now to support emergency funding for child care, so kids and their families can access the care they need. [[link removed]]

Child care is already expensive and out-of-reach for millions of families across the country – we can’t let it get worse. For the past two years, families finally got a break when it came to child care. That’s because the Biden administration helped fund child care providers with a $24 billion pandemic relief fund – the largest investment in child care in U.S. history.
But Congress is letting child care slip through the cracks. When the pandemic relief funds expire at the end of month, inaction from Congress could push our already fragile child care system to a point of no return.
We can’t let Congress ignore this issue anymore. An additional $16 billion investment in emergency child care funding would avert this child care crisis. Together, we can push our elected officials to make sure child care is funded!
Take action now: call on Congress to pass emergency legislation to help stop the child care crisis. [[link removed]]
The reality is, our country still has a long way to go on child care. This bill is only the start. We may not fix the child care crisis with this bill, but we need to come together and act now to make sure Congress hears our call for better care.
With your support, we’ll continue fighting for a future with better care for all of our families and children.
With care,
