I’ve been at the front lines of the fight for equality in Florida for my entire life.
As one of the first openly LGBTQ lawmakers in our state, it’s been truly heartbreaking to see the turn Florida has taken under this GOP supermajority.
But groups like SAVE have been standing strong, never giving up the fight for our community, and standing against bigoted lawmakers like my opponent, Fabian Basabe, who voted for the expansion of the Don’t Say Gay law and continued attacks on our transgender community.
