Each quarter, we have to publish our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission. Those reports are available for everyone to see — and they serve as a litmus test for the viability of campaigns like ours.

And since our last fundraising report, all signs point to Republicans considering NY-18 a top target:

• Elise Stefanik, Trump’s number one supporter in New York, launched an attack website calling for donors to chip in to defeat Pat.
• Stefanik also announced $100 million in spending from GOP super PACs in New York for next year’s elections.
• Speaker Kevin McCarthy came to New York for a high-dollar fundraiser last month, proving that he’s also prioritizing winning in NY.

That’s why this latest report is so important. The numbers we post now will show the strength of the grassroots team standing behind Pat — or will show our vulnerability to the GOP leaders targeting this seat.
