An exciting update from the campaign trail! This week I secured the endorsement from the hardworking folks at Teamsters Joint Council 42. Thank you, Teamsters!

The Match My Miles challenge is still strong, its keeping me accountable, increasing awareness about healthy practices and has received some fun attention. Last week I had a great conversation about the challenge with Melanie Curry of Streetsblog CA, check out the feature here ([link removed]) .

This week marks the last week of the legislative session, and it is as busy as you would expect! I am committed to getting my miles in, this weekend I went on 4 rides and logged just shy of 100 miles.

On Saturday, I got to ride on the newly dedicated bike lane in Pasadena which was fantastic! I got to cycle with a lot of great folks.

The last month of session is never easy, but I appreciate all the encouragement and support I have received from so many of you on my continued health journey.
