One of the best parts about serving in the Senate is traveling the state every summer and listening to what's on the minds of Hoosiers.

This August, I heard from Hoosiers that three years into the Biden administration, they've had enough. The southern border remains out of control. Cost of living remains high - prices at the pump are back up to unsustainable levels. I’m doing everything I can to fight back against the Biden administration, but the consequences from their choices are adversely impacting all Americans.

One way we can fight back is by supporting strong Hoosier Republican Leaders who are on the ballot this November.

This August, I was honored to support Sue Finkam in Carmel, Tom Didier in Fort Wayne, Ronald Morrell, Jr. in Marion, and Natalie Rascher in Evansville.

I hope you will join me in supporting our Republican candidates who have stepped up to serve their local communities in this municipal election year.

Yours in Service,
Todd

Todd Young Leads the Way for Indiana's Tech Hub

U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) led a letter sent by all of Indiana’s congressional delegation in support of the state’s application to be named a Regional Technology and Innovation Hub (Tech Hub). The Tech Hub proposal, known as Heartland BioWorks, would cement Indiana’s position as a leader in biotechnology, medical technology, genomics, and synthetic biology.

Senator Young introduced the Tech Hub concept in the Endless Frontier Act of 2020, which eventually became law as a key pillar in the CHIPS and Science Act, signed into law in 2022.

Fighting PTSD & Helping First-Responders

Indiana U.S. Sen. Todd Young authored and passed legislation that could help provide mental health services to first responders nationwide.

The Fighting Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Act ([link removed]) of 2023 would establish mental health programs for America’s first responders, which include police, firefighters, 911 personnel and emergency medical responders. Young told the Daily Journal he authored the bill after he saw a need for more mental health support when talking to public safety officials around the state.
