Dear Friend,

This fall and winter could be devastating for wolves, Friend. Not even wolves in Yellowstone are safe. That’s because they
aren’t bound by park lines. And the states surrounding Yellowstone have limited
safeguards to protect them. So the moment a Yellowstone wolf sets a paw outside
of the park, it’s fair game for the vicious hunters lurking in the woods.

But Yellowstone can’t afford to lose any more wolves. Just last year, a trophy
hunting rampage wiped out an entire Yellowstone wolf pack. Now, there are only 89 gray wolves left in the park. And to make matters worse,
trophy hunters and Big Polluters are fighting tooth and nail to strip away the
few protections wolves still have.

That’s why this hunting season, it’s more important than ever to protect these
iconic canines from a gruesome fate. There’s still time to act before we lose
wolves forever. But if we want to win, we need members like you standing with
us. So please, will you join us in this fight today before hunting season takes an
irreversible toll on wolves and the planet?

We need immediate action to protect wolves and the planet. Donate $27 today and

[[link removed]]We’ve seen the devastating impacts of hunting season before. Last season,
hunters gunned down over 250 helpless wolves across the Montana. But these precious canines can’t afford another hunting
season like this.

That’s because one wolf kill isn’t just one wolf kill. When a mama wolf is
gunned down by a trophy hunter, her babies’ chances for survival plummet.
Without protection, orphaned wolf pups could starve or freeze to death. Or they might survive long enough to fall prey to other animals and
trophy hunters.

And trophy hunters don’t just kill wolves. They make them suffer using inhumane
methods like neck snares and steel traps. Wolves are left reeling in pain for days before dying. These devastating scenes could soon become common as hunting
season looms.

No animal deserves this fate, Friend. But if we don’t act
soon, it could get even easier for hunters to viciously torture and kill wolves
in droves. That’s because Big Polluters are using their massive influence to
help trophy hunters strip away the last few protections wolves still have. If
they get their way, they could wipe out wolves. All so they can take over their
lands and open them up for destructive mining and logging. That would also
destroy any possibility of wolves being able to recover in the future.

Trophy hunters and Big Polluters have shown time and again that they care more
about lining their pockets than the lives of wolves and survival of our planet.
But Friend, is private profit really worth all of this bloodshed and destruction?

Help stop the slaughter before wolves are lost forever. Rush your $27 donation
now to help us reach our $3,230 goal for wolves and the planet.

[[link removed]]Even one wolf loss is devastating, but losing wolves would have serious impacts
on our planet. Wolves are a keystone species. They help balance out their
ecosystems by keeping prey populations in check. Not to mention, scavengers rely
on their kills to sustain them. Without wolves, other plant and animal species
could suffer.

That’s why each death of this iconic species is a big deal. Since a recent rule
rolled back federal protections for gray wolves in Northern Rockies states, the
trophy hunting lobby has pushed for even more cruel and inhumane laws throughout
wolves’ natural habitats. And even worse, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service could reinstate federal protections for
these creatures -- but has still failed to do so!

With hunting season around the corner, it’s never been more important to stand
up for wolves. Friends of the Earth is working to put a stop to the violent
attacks against the last surviving wolf packs and protect our planet. And that
means protecting the Endangered Species Act. A vital piece of legislation, the
ESA allows us to shield endangered and other species from violence. Even more,
it gives us the power to block destructive industries like Big Oil, logging, and
factory farming from destroying critical habitats for profit.

Your membership support can go a long way to fuel our efforts to uphold the ESA
and protect our planet. But we’re up against some powerful foes. Private
trophy-hunting interests and Big Polluters have seemingly bottomless resources
to get their way. That’s why I’m asking for your help today. We are falling
$1,034 short of our goal. But if just 1 in 12 people reading this makes a $27
membership contribution today, we can reach our $3,230 goal and make real change
for wolves and the planet. Will you stand with us today?

Stand up to greedy interests before we lose wolves forever. Donate $27
immediately to fight for wolves and the planet!
