UNITE TO ACT Digital Art Exhibition
|
|
The UN SDG Action Campaign and Code Green are thrilled to present the UNITE TO ACT Digital Art Exhibition featuring works by a diverse array of international artists and dedicated to inspiring a sustainable future through creativity and art. Featured artists will include New York-based Indonesian artist Foodmasku, singer-songwriter and UNCCD Goodwill Ambassador Inna Modja, MCSK - Marco Conti Sikic, and Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist Alejandra Her.
The exhibition will be showcased from 18 to 20 September at the Sustainability Summit NYC in partnership with the Consulate General of Denmark in New York during the 2023 Global Week to #Act4SDGs and on the margins of the UN SDG Summit. |

The UN SDG Action Campaign and the UN Foundation are organizing the Civil Society Dialogue, on the first day of the UN SDG Action Weekend, to recognize and promote civil society's critical role in achieving the SDGs and provide a platform for dialogue and exchange with high-level officials from the United Nations and representatives from civil society organizations, youth, women’s groups, persons with disabilities and indigenous groups, among others.

SDG Media Zone: The Future of Gender Equality

In The Future of Gender Equality: A Conversation on Gender Balance and Women’s Empowerment, a Deutsche Welle US Correspondent will probe the current status of gender equality efforts with Denmark's former Minister of Defence Trine Bramsen, CIVICUS Secretary-General Lysa John, and UN SDG Action Campaign Global Director Marina Ponti, to hear directly from them what more can be done to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
During the panel conversation, Marina Ponti will also present elements of the UNITE TO ACT Digital Art Exhibition which bridges creativity and artistry to drive inspiration for the achievement of the SDGs.
