Friend,
I'm heading into the Redistricting Commission meeting, and I wanted to give you an idea of what most likely will happen.
To be honest with you, we don't really know what's going to happen in there. Similar to 2021 and 2022, Republicans have been meeting behind closed doors to draw maps that are unfair and gerrymandered. The districts they're likely to propose are going to break up communities and split neighborhoods.

In contrast, I've been working with my staff and Leader Russo to propose a map that is fair and representative of Ohio. I know that if passed, this map would create more competitive districts throughout the state that are more representative of what Ohio looks like! Going through this process again is unfair to voters and our constituents. It's intentionally confusing to voters and discourages people from voting.
That's why I'm asking for your support as we tell Mike DeWine and Frank LaRose to vote for fair maps. If we get just two Republicans to support constitutional maps, we can get fair districts for the first time in over two decades in Ohio!
Will you give $20.23 today for fair maps in 2023? [[link removed]]
Thank you for all your support, and let's keep fighting because Ohio is worth fighting for!
In Solidarity,
State Senator Nickie J. Antonio
Minority Leader
