Autism Speaks Walk

We can, and must do better.

John:

The Autism Speaks Walk is our biggest community fundraiser and plays a
vital role in funding our mission work. Your support is more urgent
than ever before.

The reality is that autism impacts 1 in 36 children under 8 years of
age in the U.S. and 1 in 45 adults, making autism a major
public health concern. And unfortunately, despite the work
we're doing, autism is also a major social concern.

Too many do not have access to the critical care they need. Too many
cannot find employment although ready and willing to work. Too many
suffer from depression and isolation. Too many feel devalued when the
reality is ... they work many times harder to achieve the things
neurotypical people take for granted.

We can, and we must do better. But we can't do it alone. Make this year
our best ever. Let the autism community know you care. Join us for the
DC Walk!

With your help, we can ensure all people with autism have the
opportunities and resources they need to reach their full potential.
