Dear Name,
Our youngest child has a severe health condition that our health insurance company simply refuses to cover. I know the sinking feeling of holding a rejection letter and knowing that your child's well-being is considered too expensive or burdensome on a billion dollar company for them to cover the medication or treatment that your child needs. Ayesha and I are fortunate that we can afford the absurd out-of-pocket cost of our daughter’s medication—but millions of parents can’t. And that’s simply unacceptable.
While my opponent celebrates access to for-profit insurance as the end goal, we know that this still leaves far too many families without the healthcare they need and still subjects them to financial ruin. I demand more. That's why I firmly stand for guaranteed universal healthcare.

My opponent takes money from the very health insurance companies that profit off of denying children like my daughter healthcare, and he claims that he needs to take their dirty money to stave off radical Republicans. Our September 30 deadline is rapidly approaching, and this is our chance to prove that a campaign funded by the people, for the people, can triumph. This is our chance to prove we don't need to sacrifice our values in the service of upholding them.
Help us reach our target of 10% donor participation so we can continue to fight for what's right, like universal access to affordable healthcare.

We must act now, because Justice Can't Wait. Together, we can create a better future for our children.
