National Republicans are so worried about Shawn’s momentum that they dished out over $1 MILLION of out-of-state MAGA money for an attack ad smearing his record in office.
Never mind that Shawn implemented the largest infrastructure investment in Louisiana history, tackled improvements to over 7,000 miles of Louisiana roads, and created good-paying jobs along the way — the GOP wants voters to take their word over Shawn’s record.
Shawn’s opponent, on the other hand? He’s got nothing to run on and won’t even show up to debate Shawn face to face — something about being worried that he’ll be treated unfairly by a majority-Black group running the debate (nothing to look into there).
