This is important. I need to fill you in on what you missed:
FIRST: The National Republican attacks against our campaign have officially started. These new attacks are meant to mislead voters about the work I’ve done to deliver for Kansas families.
THEN: Congress came back from August recess. I’m getting to work on the new Farm Bill and other important issues for Kansans. But House Republicans are pushing us toward a government shutdown if we can’t stop them.
NOW: We’re facing our most important Federal Election Commission (FEC) public reporting deadline of the campaign, and we need to use this opportunity to show our opponents and the National Republican machine that we have the grassroots strength to take them on and win in 2024.
Our FEC report is a public report that only happens once per quarter. Potential and current opponents will scour our numbers for any signs of weakness, and we can’t let them find anything.
If we don’t report strong numbers, Republicans will take that as a signal that our campaign doesn’t have the grassroots strength to win next year.
This is the most important deadline we’ve faced so far this cycle, and I need you with me.
