** What’s in Children’s Drinking Water?
Far Too Often, Something Neurotoxic

Environmental Working Group (EWG) concluded that millions of American children are exposed to unsafe levels of contaminants in: municipal water supplies that routinely violate Environmental Protection Agency safety standards for drinking water, and unmonitored private wells.
This observation was confirmed in a comprehensive EWG report collected from close to 50,000 water companies & utilities nationwide (2010-2015), which found over 250 tap water contaminants, many of which are linked to cancer; brain & nervous system damage; fetal toxicity; impaired fertility; & hormone disruption.
What if your town MEETS the standards? Still not safe! One of the important conclusions drawn is that mere compliance with national drinking water standards is far from a guarantee that contaminant levels are safe, especially for children. Why is the government allowing such profound failures when it involves the health of our children?
