Congress JUST got back from recess, John, and McCarthy’s MAGA Majority is already threatening to grind everything to a halt.

But don’t worry! They’re willing to negotiate terms. For example, fellow Georgians Marjorie Taylor Greene and Andrew Clyde are totally willing to fund the government — IF THE HOUSE IMPEACHES PRESIDENT BIDEN.

Sigh. Call us cynical, but we’re really tired of Republicans claiming to be reasonable while demanding inherently unreasonable things.

Worst Behavior Watch is not about to let our MAGA Georgia representatives get away with this. We will continue to call them out. Will you help us do it with a contribution? [[link removed]]

This is asymmetrical politicking. Republicans don’t care if the government shuts down. Some of them openly delight at the possibility. The people who care about government funding, seniors receiving Social Security checks, and federal workers getting paid? The Democrats.

It should be a strength that we care about people, but Republicans try to turn it into a vulnerability, holding the well being of millions of Americans hostage. “Do exactly as I say, and no one gets hurt,” is a line normally spoken by bank robbers and hostage takers. But nowadays, it seems to be the GOP’s mantra.

Help us hold Republicans accountable for their actions and replace them with Democrats, so that people who actually care about whether their constituents can afford basic necessities are in office → [[link removed]]

This madness has to stop. But it won’t stop on its own — that part is up to us.
