H.R. 1435 is moving fast! Act now!

John, we both know that the electric vehicle transition is well underway, but House Republicans are trying to reverse our efforts and put an end to states’ personalized efforts to cut tailpipe pollution.

H.R. 1435 is a blatant attack on climate progress. It specifically targets the Clean Air Act and would turn back decades of precedent that allows states the authority to set their own vehicle emission standards.

Tackling tailpipe pollution – especially for our personal vehicles – is a pivotal step towards our goal of a cleaner, healthier future. And this bill is moving fast and the House could vote as soon as tomorrow! Reach out now to your Representative and tell them to hit the brakes on H.R. 1435!

Stand up for climate progress

Passenger cars and trucks are responsible for 57% of the transportation sector’s total climate pollution and are a leading cause of smog and other health-harming air pollution. However, we’ve seen that decrease year over year and we are closer than ever to a future free of tailpipe pollution.

We need cleaner roadways to protect our air, our health and our climate. With H.R. 1435 is going at top speed, we need to act fast! Reach out today to urge your Representative to vote “No!”

We need future free of tailpipe pollution!

Thanks for helping drive climate progress with us,
