I was up against an 11-term Republican who had been in Congress since I
was a teenager. Polls showed me down by double digits.

But we're already better off than we were in 2018: Polls show me just five
points down with 14% of voters undecided.

And Ted Cruz only won reelection by 2.6% last time.

So winning will come down to reaching those undecided voters, and that's
what I'm doing right now. I'm road tripping across Texas, and I've already
met thousands of voters who are as fed up as you and I are with Ted Cruz.
