Friends, I'm feeling energized after a walk around the neighborhood with my wife June and the dogs and I just sat down to answer your questions from last week’s Ask Me Anything survey.
I can’t begin to thank you enough for the thoughtful questions that were submitted. I’ve lost count of how many I’ve saved and shared with my team. I’m still making my way through the list, but here are a couple to start off with:
This question is from Shirley in Montgomery Village: Where were you born, raised, and educated?
My Answer: Shirley, I was born in Cheverly, Maryland and grew up at my family farm near the Pennsylvania-Maryland border. I took out student loans to get my bachelor’s degree at Furman University and my Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (fun fact: I met June during my time at Wharton!)
Peter from Gaithersburg asked: Is slab bacon a great breakfast food, or the greatest breakfast food? Follow up: Pancakes or Waffles?
My Answer: Those are tough choices, Peter. I think slab bacon is a GREAT breakfast food, BUT I can’t lie, I love a thick slice of scrapple! And I think we can all agree that the greatest breakfast food is pancakes.
Thanks again to everyone who submitted a question! Before I get back to my day, I want to give you another chance to ask me anything. I may just include it in our next email.
Thank you for your time. I appreciate it!
