Open Vacancy [ [link removed] ]
The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is seeking to fill one upcoming vacancy on the Human Services Board/Social Services Board (HSB/SSB). This position is open to residents of Macomb County. This is a three-year term, running from November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2026.
This Social Services Board administers the provisions of the County?s social welfare services in accordance with the Social Welfare Act, Public Act 280 of 1939, including the Martha T. Berry Medical Facility. The Human Services Board has operational control of the Martha T. Berry Facility as specified by the Joint Operation Agreement of January 22, 2009.

Applicants should expect to attend the Government Oversight Committee meeting on October 12, 2023, at 3 PM for a public interview. Appointments will take place at the October 19, 2023 Full Board meeting.
