After facing his fourth criminal indictment, Donald Trump is officially back on the campaign trail.
And John, his rhetoric is more dangerous than ever:
- ➢ He’s promised to direct his Attorney General to investigate political opponents if he’s elected.
- ➢ He’s echoing the language of the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection -- encouraging supporters to “fight like hell” or “lose their country.”
- ➢ He’s still denying he lost the 2020 election, despite dozens of court cases and election audits proving otherwise.
Donald Trump’s attacks on our democracy are going to continue ramping up as we get closer to next November.
We need strong Democratic Secretaries of State who will defend democracy against these attacks.

In 2020, Donald Trump pushed democracy to the brink by spreading falsehoods about the integrity of our elections. He didn’t want a recount, he just wanted his votes counted so he could stay in power.
BUT: Democratic Secretaries of State held strong and stopped election deniers from overturning our elections. It was our best line of defense against their attempts to undermine democracy.
