Art! Pizza! Community! Monthly meeting at Greenpoint Library
Thursday, September 14
Come make some art with us! We’ll devote our in-person September meeting to making art for the upcoming March to End Fossil Fuels. Join us to silkscreen a message you can wear at the march, or create your own sign. We’ll take a break from art-making to hear from environmental groups based in the Greenpoint area. Come early, and bring the kids for free pizza (while supplies last) courtesy of our friends at the beautiful Greenpoint Public Library at 107 Norman Avenue (one block from the G train). We’ll be there until 7:30. Register so the library knows how much pizza to order.
The March to End Fossil Fuels
THIS Sunday, Sept 17
Join us to show your outrage at Global Boiling! The corporate drive for profit deepens the climate crisis every year even as our carbon emissions continue to increase. Meet at 12 Noon on Broadway between 55th and 56th (roughly by the medical Training Building). NOTE: If you arrive late and can't find us, join where you can, you may find us along the march. Sign up to attend the march with 350BK. Help us organize for the March, OR help the day of the march. Join the Wave of Actions taking place from September 12th - 19th. SEE YOU AT THE MARCH!
