Hey John, it's Max.

Last week, a school district right here in Orange County approved a policy backed by concerned parents that requires school administrators to notify parents if their children begin identifying as a different gender.

They took a lot of heat for it ... But I want you to know that I applaud these parents and urge more school districts to adopt similar measures.

It's simple: schools need more communication with parents, not less. Schools shouldn't be allowed to keep secrets about kids from their parents.

I believe that when it comes to kids, we need a government that puts parents - not bureaucrats - first. I'm running for Congress to be a vocal advocate for Parents' Rights in their children's education.

This won't be an easy fight. The Left will do whatever they can to keep the government bureaucrats in charge. The good news is that a recent poll showed a majority of voters support Parents' Rights. But I need to know ... do YOU?

Since I launched my campaign, I've spoken to countless parents about this issue. We don't just need legislative solutions. We need action up and down the chain, from school boards to Congress.

That's why I plan to go to Washington as an unapologetic advocate for parents rights and fixing the federal government's broken approach to education ... but I need to know if you'll be with me on this.

I'm confident we can save our country and our schools if we're standing together.
