This week, U.S. senators are welcoming Big Tech CEOs to Congress for a series of hearings and meetings on AI technology. [1]

Friend, we know Big Tech will no doubt do everything in its power to advance its agenda of little to no meaningful oversight. But we need real transparency and accountability to ensure the rapid deployment of AI has clear, independent rules of the road in place.

We can’t let Big Tech sweet talk Congress into a hands-off approach. So, we created a new video ad showing Big Tech CEOs lying through their teeth:

Big Tech CEOs have a long history of making promises they have no intention of keeping. They promised to protect children from harmful advertising, then continued to sell ads targeting them. They promised to delete location data when people visit abortion clinics, just to continue tracking and storing this sensitive data. And just this year, OpenAI promised to limit how ChatGPT is used by political campaigns – only to disregard enforcement of its own ban. [2]
