Linda here. Congress is back in session today, so I wanted to reach out personally to let you know what I’m fighting for.

The Republican party across the country is hellbent on passing regressive legislation, from restricting access to abortion to attacking migrants at the border. As we go back into session today, I’m focused on fighting back.

• As a senior member of the Ways and Means Committee, I’m working to strengthen Social Security and ensure healthcare affordability.


• I’m working to advance commonsense, lifesaving solutions to our nation’s gun violence. This year, I was proud to co-sponsor the Recognizing Gun Violence as a Public Health Emergency Act.


• I’m protecting access to lifesaving reproductive healthcare. This year, I joined my colleagues in co-sponsoring the Women’s Health Protection Act that prohibits restrictions on abortion access.
