Dear John,
As we travel around the country, the obstructions created to keep our message from getting out to the American people are increasingly serious. From media blackouts to Democratic club shutouts, we are having to go around obstacles that are deeply undemocratic. Even the ladies of The View now perpetuate the lie that our campaign doesn’t even exist!
We very much exist, however, and my travels recently through Texas, Nevada and Michigan have made that clear.
You probably know that I'm polling very well among GenZ, and there is a reason for that: we can get our message out to them on TikTok and other social media channels. With older voters, however, the refusal of mainstream platforms to have me on their shows is keeping us from sharing our message. I have no doubt I would be polling as well with older voters as I am with GenZ, if our message were not being blocked .

The most serious blockage, of course, is the DNC’s refusal to hold presidential debates.
The people of the United States have a right to hear from other candidates, with other ideas than those of President Biden. This is not a time in our history for people to acquiesce to any form of control over things that will affect our lives and the lives of our children.
Candidate suppression is a form of voter suppression, and the party that purports to be the champion of democracy should not be so wary of it in our own house . The Democratic Party must allow President Biden to debate his opponents. The fate of our democracy is at stake, and only more democracy can save it.
To be clear, political debates have always been part of the American political landscape. From our Founding Fathers debating the formation of a new nation to Lincoln-Douglas, Kennedy-Nixon and the 2020 Democratic Presidential Debates, American voters have always expected and counted on relevant and spirited political discourse between candidates to decide who should lead our democracy.
Our nation is at a crucial juncture and voters need to see all the candidates, on stage talking about the issues that affect them. Yet the Establishment Media and Establishment Democratic Party are increasingly concerned about what it would mean to have all that media attention on anyone other than President Biden.
The Democratic National Committee and its allies in the political-media-industrial-complex are again trying to rig the Democratic Presidential nomination, and it’s important that we not let them .

Given the recent discussion about the issues facing this nation, along with the President’s sagging poll numbers, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and his DNC colleagues must decide at its meeting this coming week to allow candidates to engage in a valid conversation and with the American people. They must sanction Presidential debates. We are requesting an official meeting in order to share our concerns.
I believe President Biden was the right candidate to face and defeat Donald Trump in 2020. I give him credit where credit is due. But it is not a logical conclusion that simply because he defeated Trump in 2020, we should assume he is the best person to beat him in 2024. A lot has happened since the President took office, and if the President has confidence in his achievements since arriving at the White House, he should be willing to stand up and debate his opponents for the Democratic nomination. He should demonstrate to the American people his readiness to take on Donald Trump, by proving he can take on me.
Please give generously so we can override the DNC’s suppression of our campaign. By suppressing my voice, they are suppressing that of millions of voters who agree with our message. [[link removed]]
And let’s be very clear: our agenda is the agenda shared by a majority of the American people. Voters should have access to a full array of options this year, not just those that are sanctioned by the DNC.
In this critical moment, please join me in rising to meet it.
With gratitude for your support,
