On Thursday, March 12, in Washington, D.C., we’ll honor five outstanding young people—Caleb, Adeolu, Diana, Jazmen, and Mikaela—for their resilience, academic excellence, and commitment to social change at the Children’s Defense Fund’s Beat the Odds® celebration.
Impact Lives
The Beat the Odds program has served nearly 150 young people in the Washington, D.C. region over the past 30 years. Currently 30 high school and college students are being supported with scholarships and leadership development programming.
