I just left a meeting with my fundraising team, and they let me know we need to raise an additional $5,000 to meet our critical mid-month goal. John: Are you able to pitch in just $8 to help me protect my seat?
The GOP is already spending millions to expand their House majority. In just the past few weeks, they’ve released a strategy memo and targeted ad buy aimed directly at retaking my seat.
Despite the attacks, fundraising has been tough - it always is in summer, John. All of the polls say this race will be won by razor-thin margins, just like it was last year. So we can pull this off, but we can’t afford to take our feet off the gas or fall short by even a penny.
