Here’s just one example: As a direct result of the organizing Corporate Accountability helped lead, for the first time in 30 years, the governing body that runs the U.N. climate talks was forced to take the first step to begin to expose and address Big Polluters’ obstruction in global climate policy. Starting with registration for the next round of climate talks happening later this year all participants will have to publicly disclose who they represent. This list of disclosures will be made public for scrutiny.

Along with our partners at the Kick Big Polluters Out coalition we held demonstrations demanding action outside the official UN global climate talks. And thousands of people like you who couldn’t be there in person took digital actions to add your voice to this growing movement.

We worked with journalists to secure media coverage exposing the extent of Big Polluter’s infiltration at the climate talks, as well as coverage of the new policy announcement.

Our organizers spoke alongside allies at official press conferences during the official climate talks, as well as created positive pressure for delegates and the body that runs the UN climate talks to advance the crticial conflict of interest measure.
