Hey team, it’s Valerie here. With Congress back in session today, I wanted to write a quick note to let you know what I’m fighting for. But first, will you chip in $5 or whatever you can to my campaign? ([link removed])

The Republican party is pulling out all the stops towards advancing far-right legislation at every level of government. It’s hard to ignore.

But I don’t plan on slowing down my momentum.

* As a proud member of the Congressional Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, I’m taking on our nation’s gun violence crisis head-on and working to pass long-overdue life-saving gun legislation.

* This year, I co-sponsored the Freedom to Vote Act and worked with my colleagues to introduce the Democracy Restoration Act to restore access to the ballot and protect our sacred right to vote.

* I am continuing to work to mitigate the impacts of climate change by investing in critical energy infrastructure and supporting our nation’s most vulnerable communities.

I need your support more than ever. Congress is back in session, and I want to make sure I have the resources I need to address our most pressing issues. Can I count on your support with a contribution to my campaign today? My team tells me we need 37 contributions by midnight to put us in a good spot.

CONTRIBUTE ([link removed])

Onward,

Valerie
