Stop the vile use of human shields.
Stand with Israel
Friend of Israel,
Israel's enemies will go to any length to cause death and destruction...even at the expense of innocent civilians.
For years, terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have used men, women and children as human shields.
They hide weapons in schools.
They fire rockets from hospitals.
They dig terror tunnels underneath homes.
They transport terrorists in ambulances.
Just this May, terrorists in Gaza once again attacked both Israelis AND Palestinians when they fired nearly 1,500 rockets from populated areas in Gaza toward populated areas in Israel—a double war crime.
In total, 25% of these rockets misfired and fell inside Gaza…killing four Palestinian civilians (including three minors), while destroying residential infrastructure.
These are despicable tactics, in blatant violation of international law, and show terrorists’ willingness to put innocent Palestinians at risk for the chance to kill innocent Israelis.
In 2018, Congress unanimously passed the Sanctioning the Use of Civilians as Defenseless Shields Act—bipartisan legislation lobbied for by AIPAC members—which now mandates sanctions against those responsible for terrorists' use of civilians as human shields and those providing support for their efforts. This is an important step, but more must be done.
As the threats continue to grow, so must our commitment to keeping Israel safe.

Together, we can encourage the United States to continue supporting Israel and hold terrorist groups responsible for their heinous use of human shields.
