We are excited to share the highlights and accomplishments of our seventh annual Millennial Action Project (MAP) Future Summit that took place August 9-12 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
A resounding success, Future Summit 2023 brought together nearly 70 young lawmakers from different backgrounds and political affiliations in 35 states, enabling them to reaffirm their intention to work across the political spectrum via open, bipartisan dialogue on relevant, future-oriented issues and policymaking.
During the Summit’s opening evening, Indiana state Sen. Andrea Hunley welcomed our MAP community, commenting on the effectiveness and potential of young, elected leaders within our Future Caucus network. Throughout the four-day event, our distinguished speakers shared invaluable insights, drawing lessons from history, advocating for cross-sector collaboration, and leading engaging policy discussions. This year’s Summit was held on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), offering an ideal academic setting for our discussions and collaborations.
