Calling All Abe Teamers,
We’ve got a four-alarm fire in Wisconsin! MAGA Republicans in the State Assembly are trying to impeach Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz, whose landslide victory last spring, drawing support from counties across the state, ended MAGA’s iron grip on the state’s highest judicial venue. This win was a victory for both personal freedom and American democracy, making it difficult for the MAGA forces to sustain an outrageously gerrymandered map and severely restrict reproductive rights, or to overturn the upcoming 2024 election.
In short, this is precisely the outcome MAGA Republicans fear across the country, and why we need to confront and defeat their growing hostility to democracy and its institutions.
Right now, pro-democracy groups are gearing up to fight back, but we implore you—our most valuable volunteers—to take action right away.

For Wisconsinites, another important action is to contact GOP legislators and their leaders in the Assembly and Senate to stand up for the rule of law and elections and express your concern about overturning the vote of the people by a bogus impeachment attempt.
