Governor Murphy has been working to ensure all these students have access to a world-class education and resources that allow them to succeed beyond high school.
Expanding educational opportunities for New Jersey’s students will help them thrive and hopefully do better than their parents — allowing them to ultimately achieve the American Dream, which for so long has been out of reach for too many.
The Murphy Administration has already added almost a billion dollars this year in direct aid for K-12 schools, along with over $100 million to advance the goal of universal pre-K and expand eligibility for college affordability programs.
And now the administration has approved $450 million in school construction funding. These State funds will improve education facilities with critical needs while reducing the burden on local taxpayers.
