1) Middle Class Getting Crushed by Bidenomics

Later today the Census Bureau annual data on median household income will be released for 2022. This is considered the gold standard of data on annual economic progress or decline for families.

Under Trump, the Census data showed a giant $6,500 real increase in median household income. We are predicting that the numbers to be released by the census will show a substantial DECLINE in real household income – of several thousand dollars.

Our best estimate by tracking the Labor Department monthly wage and salary data is that through the end of 2022, the average household has LOST about $4,000 in real purchasing power. These are abysmal numbers given that when Biden came into office, the economy was recovering from COVID and people were going back to work.

If it is Trump v. Biden in 2024, the question Trump should ask is: Are you better off than you were four years ago?

2) China’s Population Expected to Fall by Half in This Century

The communists in Beijing are said to be highly embarrassed that India has surpassed China as the world’s most populous country. That’s unbecoming of a supposed world economic superpower. It’s going to get worse for China in the decades to come.

Long-term population projections are often terribly wrong (remember predictions in the 1970s of "the population bomb"?) but the latest United Nations predictions on what will happen with the number of people populating each country by 2050 and then 2100 are jaw-dropping.

Here’s the legacy of the ghastly one-child policy under Mao: the Chinese population will decline every decade for the rest of this decade and will be down 50% by 2100 - tumbling from 1.4 Billion today to 770 million next year.

Beijing may need to adopt a four-child policy.

The U.S. has low birth rates, but thanks to immigration, our population is expected to remain stable at about 350 million.

Keep an eye on Nigeria where birth rates are near the highest in the world. The population is expected to rise from 220 million today to 545 million in 75 years. We may need some of their kids to immigrate here.

3) CDC Orders 20 Million Pediatric Doses of COVID Vaccine – Is This the Biggest Corporate Welfare Scam of All Time?

There’s almost no health reason for children to be vaccinated against COVID since the health risks are predominantly older people. That’s why most other countries are only making the vaccine available to seniors.

So WHY is the U.S. government spending $1.7 billion purchasing 20 million doses for kids?

https://sam.gov/opp/88d0b5204e564fab873c255496ac830e/view

The total pediatric uptake of the bivalent booster last time around was just 4.5 million.

This means the CDC believes FIVE TIMES as many parents will get their kids the booster this time around than last time. We’re going to take the under on that bet!!

At least the feds aren't doing adult vaccine purchasing this year, with it finally shifting to the private sector thanks to Congress forcing Biden to end the national emergency. These are the final uptake numbers from last year when the feds spent $4.9 billion on 171 million doses, two-thirds of which were never administered. (The amount the federal government paid per dose jumped from $29 for the bivalent to $83 for this year's booster.)

Here’s what’s worrying us. The only way that many children will get these shots is if the government mandates them. Good luck with that.

We’re strong defenders of the U.S. pharmaceutical industry – which saves millions of lives every year with wonder cures. BUT this program smacks like a multi-billion dollar corporate welfare scam – with taxpayer dollars going right into the coffers of Moderna. By the way, Moderna is spending tens of millions of dollars on a TV campaign to get Americans to get jabbed again.

4) Gavin Newsom Admits He Was Wrong, Wrong, Wrong on COVID Lockdowns

When Gavin Newsom was facing a recall election as governor of California in September 2021, he fiercely defended his pandemic lockdowns and warned the state could fall off a "COVID cliff" if the recall passed and a Republican who opposed mask mandates in schools replaced him.

That was then.

On Sunday's Meet the Press, Governor Hair Gel ran away from his lockdown policies by telling host Chuck Todd that at the time, “we didn't know what we didn't know." He then added: "We would have done everything differently." As for criticism of his COVID actions: “All of it is legitimate.” We admit to being gobsmacked.

Newsom pointed out that many Red States also moved into lockdowns as COVID hit, but most Republican governors ended business and school lockdowns far sooner than Newsom did. His stay-at-home orders remained in place far longer than almost anywhere else. When local governments rebelled and declined to enforce nonsensical rules, Newsom had state agencies threaten businesses with fines and license revocations.

At the same time, Newsom sent his children to a private school that offered in-person instruction when public schools were shuttered, and in the fall of 2021 attended an infamous dinner with a lobbyist at the French Laundry restaurant in Napa while he discouraged Californians from having Thanksgiving together.

Congrats to Newsom for at least admitting he was wrong on Covid. However, his policies destroyed the state’s economy and did great and lasting damage to the children of California.

Hard to believe with this record, that Democrats are flocking to him to run for president.

5) Headline of the Day – From NPR, of All Places!

This NPR puff piece did not go as planned for the Biden administration:

I rode along with Granholm during her trip, eager to see firsthand how the White House intends to promote a potentially transformative initiative to the public and what kind of issues it would encounter on the road...

Her advance team realized there weren't going to be enough plugs to go around. One of the station's four chargers was broken, and others were occupied. So an Energy Department staffer tried parking a nonelectric vehicle by one of those working chargers to reserve a spot for the approaching secretary of energy.

That did not go down well: a regular gas-powered car blocking the only free spot for a charger?

In fact, a family that was boxed out — on a sweltering day, with a baby in the vehicle — was so upset they decided to get the authorities involved: They called the police.

Whoops!
