September Happenings at Alliance For Children   Back to School Connection Recap Thanks to you, our Back to School Connection was a success! Over 100 Tarrant County kids were served with new backpacks filled with school supplies, snacks, new uniforms, and gift cards to Ogle Beauty School for free haircuts and fun at Alley Cats, kicking off their school year. Thank you to all of our amazing donors and volunteers who graciously gifted us their time, talents, and resources to make this event possible! Be the change this North Texas Giving Day! North Texas Giving Day is coming up on September 21, but early giving is now open! Help us meet our goal of $35,000 so we can ensure healing is a reality for Tarrant County child abuse victims. Want a reason to dress up and support our kids? Join our friends at Point Reality and Green Group Advisors for a fun night benefiting our mission. Reserve your seat Trick or Treat with Alliance For Children It’s almost Spooky Season! We're looking for vetted volunteers to host a Trick or Treat party for children in our Clinical Program and their siblings on Tuesday, October 24 from 5-6 pm at all three of our locations. Before Group Therapy, children will be able to compete in a cake walk, play festive games, and receive goodie bags full of tricks and treats. Friendly costumes are highly encouraged! Support our Spooky Wishlist   Ridglea Summer Classic Tennis Tournament Dedicated Ridglea Country Club members and their Charitable Foundation hosted their annual Summer Classic Tennis Tournament to raise funds and awareness for Alliance For Children! Their efforts welcomed over 200 attendees at the Friday night kick-off event on August 25 and over 120 players participated in the tennis tournament on Saturday, August 26. Their “aced” efforts raised over $60,000 to support and protect Tarrant County’s children. We “love” our partners and are grateful you “set” your hearts on supporting our kiddos! Let's Play Bingo! Save the Date Saturday, February 17, 2024 Alliance For Children presents the 14th annual Let’s Play Bingo! Ladies Luncheon, a unique event to bring Tarrant County women together for a common cause: the prevention and healing of child abuse. Don’t be late for this very important date to participate in our fabulous live and silent auction, sip our specialty cocktails, enjoy a delicious lunch, and of course, play BINGO!
