Survey to understand impact of caring career recruitment campaign [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:*?Service providers, people who use services, people who hire or recruit care professionals and other interested parties
* *Survey period:*?Sept. 12 to 29, 2023
* *Summary:*?DHS and the Department of Employment and Economic Development want feedback on the Follow Your Heart to a Caring Career campaign from people who hire or assist with recruiting care professionals. This input will help us better understand the impact of the campaign. Respondents can enter a drawing to win one of four $50 gift cards.

Remember to apply for PCA training stipend grant initiative [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:*?Home and community-based services direct care workers, traditional PCA workers, service providers, lead agency staff, people who use services and other interested parties
* *Summary:*?Traditional PCA workers can sign up for one free training session that may qualify them for a stipend and fulfills a requirement toward an enhanced rate for PCA services they provide to eligible people. After completing all required training courses, which are also free, participants who meet income qualifications can get a one-time $500 stipend.
