I've been working hard in DC and at home to continue delivering results for you and your family. I wanted to make sure you got the chance to check out some of the stuff I've been working on strengthen our community right here in CT-02.

Last year, Joe championed the Inflation Reduction Act which lowered drug costs tremendously. The bill has helped seniors and families on Medicare save an average of $560 a year on prescription drug costs by capping insulin and out-of-pocket prescriptions. CT-02 has received more than $9 million dollars to transform brownfield sites thanks to the federal Infrastructure Law that Joe worked to pass in 2021. This money will go towards developing the sites into housing for our hardworking communities. Student loan interest rates have made it almost impossible for student borrowers to make progress on their loans, let alone pay them off completely, and now, the COVID-era pause on student loan interest has come to an end. That's why Joe was proud to introduce a bill to refinance interest rates on federal loans to 0%. Joe is calling on his colleagues to join his in addresssing the student debt crisis and make the rates more beneficial to students and borrowers. READ MORE>>
