As we get closer to Election Day, more anti-equality groups are smearing our candidates. They’re sending anti-LGBTQ threats on social media and calling candidates “groomers” and “pedophiles” for speaking up for LGBTQ+ kids. They’re calling candidates “murderers” for defending the right to choose and the right to privacy. They're using dangerous transphobic stereotypes. It’s outrageous!

In Virginia, Spotlight candidate Danica Roem is facing another transphobic opponent. He's using dog-whistles to attack Danica and happily campaiging with anti-LGBTQ Governor Glenn Youngkin. In Nashville, TN, Eric Patton's opponent for the city council is claiming he stands for "traditional community values" while claiming Eric will only push a "LBGTQ (sic) driven agenda." And numerous school board candidates are facing opponents who want to ban LGBTQ+ issues in schools and force teachers to out students!
