Hi John, it’s Betsy, Nikki’s campaign manager.

After the first debate in Milwaukee, it’s clear that momentum is with Nikki Haley. 

Poll after poll – in the early states and nationally – show Nikki gaining ground in the primary, and she’s the ONLY candidate who can defeat Joe Biden in the general.

With only 125 days until the first votes take place, we’re not taking our foot off the gas for one second.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY UPDATE AS OF 09/12/2023:

Post-Debate Momentum: 
Since Nikki WON the first debate, she is the only candidate who has constantly gained in the polls.

Polls show Nikki surging in Iowa, placing SECOND in New Hampshire, and STOMPING Joe Biden by 6 POINTS nationally. 
 
Note: Nikki is the only candidate who is decisively defeating Joe Biden in the national polls. Which confirms that Nikki is the ONLY candidate who can win in the general election.

We’re feeling the same momentum on the ground:
At our first post-debate campaign event, we expected 500 people to show up and got over 1,000, filling three overflow rooms. 

We continued our ground game momentum with events in New Hampshire and South Carolina last week, and it was nothing short of incredible. We experienced standing-room-only events full of voters who were fired up for Nikki, and fired up that she is thumping on Joe Biden.

Additionally, we just announced a Young Americans for Nikki coalition that already boasts chairs in 45 states and on 25 campuses. We’re racking up new endorsements in Iowa every day. And we just announced chairs in all 10 counties in New Hampshire, the first campaign to do so. 

NEW TELEVISION AD:
A super PAC that supports Nikki Haley dropped a new ad which will be played on the airwaves in New Hampshire and Iowa.

This new ad highlights Nikki’s very real and growing campaign momentum, as well as her stance on government spending, mental competency tests for politicians over the age of 75, and term limits for Congress.

UPDATE ON OUR GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT:

Right now, momentum is on our side. We’re surging in the polls and we’re strengthening our grassroots movement. 

But we can’t stop there. In order to keep the momentum strong and win on Election Day, we MUST keep our heads down, keep working, and keep earning every vote.

Now’s the time to hold more town halls, ramp up our voter outreach efforts, and continue to amplify Nikki’s message even further than ever before. But, with that comes higher stakes and more costs for our campaign.
