Today I voted against impeaching President Trump, and here’s why: - Democrats failed to convince the Senate or the American people that the President should be removed from office.
- Voters should decide who their president is, not the partisan politicians who initiated impeachment.
Also, today, my opponent stood with Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren against President Donald Trump on impeachment. Just add it to the list of things on which my opponent prefers Sanders, Warren, and the rest of the socialists who would run our president out of office and our country into a ditch.

His impeachment position proves he cares more about donors in California and Massachusetts than he does the people of Arizona.
Now that impeachment’s over, Senate Democrats are out of excuses and we can get back to work on the real on issues that matter to people, like the cost of prescriptions, health care access, and supporting our veterans.
