Los Angeles - Presidential candidate Cornel West today welcomed Peter Daou to his presidential campaign in the role of Campaign Manager. A respected activist, adviser, writer, and musician, Daou has more than 20 years of national political experience and was described by the New York Times as “one of the most prominent political bloggers in the nation.” He has advised major progressive organizations and has held senior positions in several Democratic presidential campaigns. Daou has been an Independent since 2020 and supported the Green Party in the 2020 election. Before entering the political arena, Daou was a prolific keyboardist and remixer, appearing on recordings by artists including Miles Davis, Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, and Mariah Carey.



Says Daou of his new role on the West campaign: “It is an honor to be part of Dr. Cornel West's historic campaign for president.
