Friend,

Today is the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on American soil.

It has become known as Patriot Day for us to remember the countless examples
of American bravery in the face of danger.

We will never forget the terrifying events of that day.

We remember the first responders who ran straight in to save as many as
possible.

We remember the servicemembers who were called overseas to fight the
terrorists who attacked our country.

We remember the patriots, the medics, construction workers, law enforcement,
volunteers, and everyday citizens who stepped up to rebuild in the face of
catastrophe.

Patriot Day stands to remind us that the American spirit is not easily broken!

Thank you for joining me in solemn remembrance of the September 11th, 2001
terrorist attacks.
