We didn't want to have to send this email today, but we needed to share some news with you: We didn't reach our end-of-August target last month.

That means we're beginning September a bit behind where we need to be, leaving us with fewer resources to face the challenges ahead.

The progress we can make right now on critical issues, such as health care, workers’ rights, and immigration will ensure our communities have the freedom to thrive for generations to come. That’s why we can't afford to slow down or fall behind.

But here’s some good news: We crunched the numbers this morning to see how much we need to raise to keep growing our work and building political energy for what will be an incredibly consequential election in 2024.
