Today is the 22nd anniversary of the tragic September 11th terror attacks. As
September 11th moves further into history and the wounds of that day heal, we
cannot forget the families that continue to bear the weight of immense loss. We
also honor the remarkable heroes of the FDNY, NYPD, and more who, without
hesitation, risked everything to help. Our work recovering will never be
complete until they get the care they need to cope with the enduring health
challenges they face.

Good morning –

Today is the 22nd anniversary of the tragic September 11th terror attacks.

As September 11th moves further into history and the wounds of that day heal,
we cannot forget the families that continue to bear the weight of immense loss.
We also honor the remarkable heroes of the FDNY, NYPD, and more who, without
hesitation, risked everything to help. Our work recovering will never be
complete until they get the care they need to cope with the enduring health
challenges they face.

This day also gives us a chance to rekindle the resolute dedication and unity
we displayed in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Remembrance is vital, but we
can also pay homage by channeling our energy into service.

So, I hope you’ll join me in honoring 9/11 by engaging in volunteer efforts in
your community. Through service, we extend a humble tribute to those who
endured tragic losses on that clear September morning.

– Doris
